For most men, and for many decades, the suit was just considered a uniform. Sure, there are numerous exceptions
to that, but for just about five days a week the suit was strictly something to be worn to work.
Largely, the reason for that was price.
We have listened to our clients throughout the years and now, thanks to the great imagination of certain designers, Elegant is able to offer ready made garments that meet all our clients’ needs:
- The same styles and luxurious fabrics found in all the famous department stores
- Suits which are very reasonably priced
- Suits with a fashion statement
- Elegant suits which have a great wool-silk feel, but are restrained in style (for those who wish to avoid showiness.)

- Constructed using similar techniques that go in to the manufacturing of custom-made.
- Made in the U.S.A.
- The jacket’s lapels and collars have hundreds more stitches then the average ready made suit bought in America. This allows the garments to keep their shape intact through all weathers, fair or foul.
- Canvas inner lining allows the lapels to roll and stay on the coat’s chest more naturally than fused lapels will.
- Most of our fabrics are made with thread counts of Super 120’s and up. Some have a touch of cashmere (8%) blended in.
- Alterability. Most men need to factor in the “what if” when they buy ready made clothes. These days, when a man spends $750.00 on a suit, he should expect that the garment will be able to be let out sufficiently if they gain ten pounds. Of course, this is the case with our off-the-rack suits.
- At Elegant Consulting, we are avid fans of Alan Flusser (Style and The Man.) We choose our designers and manufacturers based on specifications that he discusses in his books.
